PIPES Free Acid (Piperazine-N,N'-bis(2-ethane sulfonic acid)) PIPES is a biological buffer (zwitterionic) designed by Good, et al.  and typically referred to as Good's buffer useful in cell culture media formulations.

The synthesis of phenylhydrazine involving the diazotization of aniline, the reduction of the resulting diazonium salt with an excess amount of sodium sulfite, and the hydrolysis of phenylhydrazine sulfonic acid salt with hydrochloric acid is known as Fischer phenylhydrazine synthesis.

Biological Buffers are used to prepare exclusive solutions that aid in various biochemical processes, wherein a significant change in pH can lead to harmful reaction in molecular structure, biological activity and functions. Buffer systems are aqueous systems that resist changes in pH, as an acid or base is added.

It is obtained as a byproduct of wine manufacture during the fermentation process. Approved by the FDA as a direct food substance, potassium bitartrate is used as an additive, stabilizer, pH control agent, antimicrobial agent, processing aid, or thickener in various food products

Titanium oxalate can create orange shades in combination with many tannins or yellow dyes. 

Titanium oxalate is mentioned in several books as a mordant for dyeing cotton and leather. 

 It finds application as a grinding agent, as a rust remover in metal treatment and as a bleaching agent in the textile and wood industry.

Potassium bisulfate is commonly used to prepare potassium bitartrate for winemaking. Potassium bisulfate is also used as a disintegrating agent in analytical chemistry or as a precursor to prepare potassium persulfate, a powerful oxidizing agent.

Potassium bisulfate is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula KHSO4 and is the potassium acid salt of sulfuric acid. It is a white, water-soluble solid.

Potassium periodate is used as an oxidizing agent in organic synthesis and an analytical reagent for the determination of potassium and cerium. It is also used in colorimetric estimation of manganese.
