Corrosion Inhibitor Additives for Water system ::: Alkaline Corrosion Inhibitor blend for multi-metal protection in closed-loop and chilled cooling water CLOSED circulating system.
This is a Highly effective INHIBITOR for closed loop , line chilled water with unique dual control of corrosion and scale from system.
This closed water treatment chemicals are designed to treat hot and chilled water systems. The product contains a combination of molybdate, borate, and silicate formulated to minimize corrosion and deposition. The product comes in a clear and also a variant pink appearance form.
RXSOL-40-4011-020 is a superior multifunctional, molybdate-based chemical treatment used for the control of corrosion in closed cooling systems and chilled water systems. RXSOL-40-4011-020 is a liquid product containing a combination of ferrous and non-ferrous corrosion inhibitors, a non-carbonate buffer, scale inhibitors, dispersants and a leak detection dye.
Keep in a tightly closed container in storage closed area . Recommended storage temperature is 500C
◦Very effective to Controls corrosion on brass, aluminum, steel, and stainless steel
◦Extends equipment life & Improves overall equipment efficiency
Cooling water treatment specified corrosion inhibitior for multi-metal containng cooling systems to operate at high or low temperatures
For systems containing no aluminium, RXSOL-40-4011-020 should be dosed at 0.5 to 1% (5 L–10 L/ 1000 L) in order to give a reserve of 50 ppm of sodium molybdate. For systems containing aluminium, the dosage of 1–1.5% should be added in order to maintain a minimum reserve of 100 ppm of sodium molybdate. In certain circumstances it may be necessary to adjust the pH separately by the addition of pH CONDITIONER - your Consultant will advise. In systems requiring significant passivation/higher initial dosages may be required to yield the required inhibitor residual.
Normal treated water control limits
pH 7.0 - 9.0 (Without Aluminium)
pH 7.0 - 8.0 (With Aluminium)
For systems containing aluminium it is important to maintain the system water pH in the range 7.0 - 8.0. Occasionally depending on the water characteristics and system treatment history the pH may rise above pH 8.0 which means that the risk of aluminium corrosion is increased - if this happens then high pH can be reduced by adding an appropriate quantity of pH Conditioner.
NITRITE FREE Corrosion InhibitorRXSOL-40-4011-020 is a superior multifunctional, molybdate-based and triazole based chemical treatment used for the control of corrosion in closed cooling systems and chilled water systems. RXSOL-40-4011-020 is a liquid product containing a combination of ferrous and non-ferrous corrosion inhibitors, a non-carbonate buffer, scale inhibitors, dispersants and a leak detection dye. Note: The stable oxide film that is formed by RXSOL-40-4011-020 prevents corrosion caused by electrolytic action between dis -similar metals used in the system.RXSOL-40-4011 has been field tested and found to have no detrimental effects on non metallic substances such as seals, glands, packing, hoses, gaskets etc., normally used in these’systems.

AdvantagesProlong the life of equipment by keeping scale and corrosion free. Since RXSOL-40-4011-020 is alkaline and so will suppress acid corrosion, which would otherwise result in corrosion damage such as pitting. However, the alkalinity control is such that even if the product is accidentally overdosed, the pH of the water will remain within limits. The metals which would be affected by extremes of alkalinity or acidity are protected
Note: In cases where systems are contaminated with oil and/or scale they should be cleaned before starting to apply RXSOL-40-4011-020.There are suitable RX BRAND products to carry out the cleaning. Degreasing should be carried out using RXSOL-10-1005-OB and descaling by using RXSOL-11-1008-DC
