Application:
• Drilling Mud:
Oil well drilling is often through rock salt strata, and saturated brine is used in the drilling fluid to preserve the core intact. Mud formulas sometimes contain starch, the properties of which are destroyed by fermentation. Salt is added to prevent this.
• Chemical Industries:
The greatest salt consumption is for direct and indirect chemical uses as a chemical raw material.
• Water Treatment:
Commercial and residential water softening units use salt to remove the ions causing the hardness.
• Food Processing:
From sanitation point the biggest problem in food-grade is rust but PVD Salt has not this problem due to use special alloy equipment. In addition, metal can catalyze oxidation reaction such as rancidity and color or vitamin loss, the metal content in our PVD Salt very low as per the standard of food and chemical codex.
