Manganese and Iron Removal from Water

Dosage
Manganese dioxide is well known as a catalyst for selective oxidation of organic compounds; it is also a known catalyst for oxidation of CO to CO2 at low temperatures.
Manganese dioxide catalyzes the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide to oxygen and water. Since manganese dioxide is a catalyst, it is not consumed in the reaction.
