Mode of Action of Pendimethalin

Pendimethalin acts both pre-emergence, that is before weed seedlings have emerged, and early post-emergence. Pendimethalin inhibits root and shoot growth. Its primary mode of action is to prevent plant cell division and elongation in susceptible species.
