The pore size of 4A molecular sieve is 4Ǻ. It is mainly used to adsorb water, methanol, carbon dioxide, ethylene, propylene, does not adsorb any larger molecular than 4Ǻ and often used as desiccant in industrials.

The pore size of 13x molecular sieve(APG) is about 10 A. It can adsorb any molecular smaller than 10 A mainly used as catalyst carrier, coadsorbtion of CO2 and H2O and H2S as desiccant for medical and air compressor systems and can also be adjusted to fit other various applications.

It can remove too large to fit type A crystal and is commonly used to separate nitrogen from oxygen.
