Heat Transfer Glycol Liquid

Propylene glycol inhibited with the corrosion inhibitor resulting corrosion protection, as well as efficient heat transfer, in water-based, closed-loop heating and air-conditioning systems.  RXSOL Corrosion Inhibited MPG is an engine coolant concentrate based on mono propylene glycol with high quality corrosion inhibitor. Also Antifreeze MPG does not contain nitrite, amine, phosphate, borate and silicates inhibition suitable for cooling systems of all types of internal combustion engines.

Remarks

Propylene glycol is tolerated well by the skin and shouldn't cause redness or irritation. Propylene glycol is a penetration-enhancing humectant.
 

Propylene Glycol USP is a widely used ingredient in pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic, personal care, flavors and animal feed applications; an overview of typical uses of Propylene Glycol USP as below.It must be emphasized that it is the user’s responsibility to consult area and country-specific regulations for details of approved use.

  1. Pharmaceuticals - Solvent for active ingredients in oral, and topical products.
     
  2. Cosmetics & Personal Care - Solvent, coupling agent, carrier, emulsion stabilizer, softening agent, viscosity modifier and humectant in many types of cosmetics and personal care products such as skincare, sun care, shampoo, bath/shower products, toothpastes, mouthwashes, shaving products and baby care products.
     
  3. Flavors & Fragrances - Solvent and extraction solvent of flavors and fragrances for applications in food, beverages, perfumes and cosmetics.
     
  4. Food - Various applications as a direct food additive (E 1520) such as a carrier or carrier solvent for colors, emulsifiers, antioxidants and enzymes (in Europe with maximum 1 g/kg in human foodstuffs), and humectant and stabilizer in fruits, vegetables and bakery goods (except in Europe). Propylene Glycol USP is also applied in indirect contact food applications, such as a low temperature heat-transfer fluid in the brewing, dairy and ice cream industries and for food storage facilities, an equipment cleaner fluid or a solvent for printing inks.
     
  5. Pet foods & Animal Feed - Humectant, emulsifier, preservative, solvent foradditives, energy source and aid for prevention of ketosis (acetonemia) in dairycattle. In EMEA a specific tailor made Propylene Glycol Animal Feed is offered forthis application.

PROPYLENE GLYCOL supplier and exporter. Experts suggest in Airstack Chiller mixing of propylene glycol with water always be beneficial. Mixture in recirculating chillers is beneficial whenever the coolant temperature set point is below 10°C (48°F)

Glycol characteristic is to transfer heat from one place to other, due to that water-miscible glycol based coolant frequently used in heat transfer and cooling applications. Addition of Propylene Glycol in water enhances heat transfer parameters than water.

Dose : For corrosion protection, always use after dilution ration 30 to 52 volume percentage. Coolant Additive can be use after compatibility test or by manufacturer recommendation. 
This Inhibited Propylene glycol heat transfer fluid has an operating temperature range of -50°F to 325°F; with fluid freeze protection to below -60°F, and system burst protection to below -100°F. 
This fluid is specially formulated for HVAC systems to keep pipes free of corrosion without fouling.
 
This fluid is recommended for use in applications where low acute oral toxicity is important or where incidental contact with drinking water is possible.
