Methylamine solution may be used as a LC-MS/MS mobile phase in the perchlorate analysis of milk and yogurt samples. Note

Methylamine must be stored to avoid contact with mercury, flammable materials, and strong oxidizers, (such as chlorine dioxide, or bromine), since violent reactions occur. Store in Tightly closed containers in a cool, well-ventilated area away from heat.
