Perchloric Acid, 0.1 N Solution in Glacial Acetic Acid, (USP Volumetric Solution) is an inorganic acid dissolved in an organic solvent. It's main characteristic is that it is stronger than both sulfuric and nitric acid. It is also used for its super acid properties and also as an etchant for certain metals.
