There are three different types of silicone foam control agents,
adapted to specific applications: Defoamer agents that destroy foam.
Note
Start by using a feed pump to intermittently add small amounts of antifoam on a continuous base. Commonly, the feed pump on/off can be activated on a timer run off of the control panel.
Antifoaming agents are added to prevent or counter the foam generation in the formulation. Generally, these agents have surface active properties and are insoluble in the foaming medium.
