SULPHURIC ACID AR
sulfuric acid is a colorless to slightly yellow liquid which is clear or viscous and also soluble in water at all concentrations. The corrosiveness of it is mainly due to its strong acidic nature and strong dehydrating property.
The principal uses of Sulphuric Acid include lead-acid batteries for cars and other vehicles, ore processing, fertilizer manufacturing, oil refining, waste-water processing, and chemical synthesis
Sulfates and sulfuric acid products are used in the production of fertilizers, chemicals, dyes, glass, paper, soaps, textiles, fungicides, insecticides, astringents, and emetics. They are also used in the mining, wood-pulp, metal, and plating industries, in sewage treatment, and in leather processing.
